路透社報導，在競爭最激烈的德國法蘭克福台北文具批發機場（Frankfurt Airport）餐廳，麥當勞顧客在櫃台或利用數位點選抑或向拿著平板電腦的服務生點餐後，就可以回到座位等待餐桌服務。
法蘭克福機場麥當勞是德國最大的一家，擁有超過500個座位，經過整修後，也特別提供別家沒有的餐桌服務。
47歲英國籍的伊斯特布洛克（Steve Easterbrook）挑戰挽救全球下滑銷售，希望重新將麥當勞定位為「現代、進步的漢堡公司」。
